Altered Terrain

A series of site interventions through Augmented Reality(AR)

1 - 23 August, 2023

This exhibition showcases 8 early-career artists critically engaging with emerging digital technologies in Ireland today.

This exhibition features AR artworks that explore concepts of altered terrain.

By presenting this series of site-specific installations and interventions, our aim is to offer fresh insights into the spaces we encounter, archive a playful moment of technical development in this medium and explore the complex relationship between physical and digital environments.

We invite you to observe and interact with these works at their various locations across Ireland. Discover our online map to see if any of the works are near you! You can also activate the works at home, using a laptop and phone.
