about us:

screen service is a service-oriented artist collective supporting artists with screen-led practices in or from Ireland. We focus on artist-led development and flexible formats that prioritise experimentation and connectivity.

what we do:

We curate and facilitate projects that encourage the development of visual arts practice across various manifestations. Based online, we work with artists in Ireland and Irish artists living abroad. The model we sustain is artist-run, peer-led and reliant on and propelled by the creative practitioners we work with.

who we support:

We gravitate towards early career artists who have practices that embrace (but are not limited to) the following: moving image, photography, multimedia installation, expanded cinema, expanded print and sculpture, art writing, performance, VR/AR, sound, workshops, collaboration, web-based, analogue, digital or hybrid media processes.

We recognise the importance of inclusivity and aim to provide space for active, non-exclusionary gathering.

  • For our funded projects, we are committed to providing our peers with pay that values their work, and provides some space for the expansion of their practice. Our payments reflect the Arts Council Policy on the remuneration of artists.

Occasionally, small projects run unfunded and are operated voluntarily by all involved. We understand that this limits involvement.

Please get in touch with us if you have any queries or concerns.

screen service is a registered not-for-profit CLG: screen service collective company limited by guarantee, Reg. number 754517.
