Ciara O’Kelly

Ciara O’Kelly is an Irish artist based between Amsterdam and Dublin. In 2022, she graduated with an MA from the Dirty Art Department at Sandberg Institute and in 2017, with a BFA in Sculpture and Visual Culture at NCAD. She creates large-scale sculptures incorporating various mediums which often includes video, performance and text. Her work is concerned with controlling neuroplasticity, de-conditioning the over-performing body and cultivating resilience through endurance practices. She was previously awarded residencies at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Colorado, MoHA in Austin and FireStation Artists Studio in Dublin
